Dedicated Server Recommendations #
Dedicated (bare-metal) servers are for workloads that need exclusive CPU, memory and disks: databases, virtualization hosts, high-traffic sites, game servers and backups. Unlike VPS, the whole machine is yours, but billing is monthly and configurations vary — check the CPU platform, memory ceiling, drive bays and network port before ordering.
Tracking 257 bare-metal servers from 13 providers, from $30 to $5099 per month. Catalog checked 2026-10-27.

How to choose #
- CPU platform: older E5 v4 platforms are cheap with many cores; Xeon Scalable / EPYC give stronger single-core performance for databases and bursty workloads.
- Memory ceiling: listed prices usually include base RAM; confirm slots and maximum module size before planning upgrades.
- Drive bays: SATA/SAS bays suit bulk storage, U.2/NVMe bays suit low latency; confirm whether RAID and cache are included.
- Network: a 10Gbps port is not unlimited traffic — check the monthly allowance and overage pricing.
- Stock and delivery: in-stock systems usually deploy within 24 hours, custom builds take 1–2 weeks.
Prices are the base monthly configuration from each provider and exclude CPU / RAM / disk / bandwidth upgrades and setup fees. Stock and pricing are subject to the order page.
