Megalayer’s Three Bandwidth Types #

Megalayer offers three different types of bandwidth options, each suited for different user needs:

Premium Network #

• Hong Kong Data Center: Includes CN2/CMI/CU/HGC/HKIX lines, covering mainland China, Hong Kong, and overseas networks. Ideal for users who need access from mainland China with high speed requirements, while also being accessible to Hong Kong local and foreign users. Bandwidth typically starts at 10M, upgradeable.
• US Data Center: Includes CN2/CT/CU/CMI/PCCW/COGENT networks, covering China and overseas. Bandwidth typically starts at 30M, upgradeable.
• Suitable Products: Dedicated servers, Multi-IP servers, Multi-VPS servers, GPU servers

Standard Network #

• Primarily offered in US data centers: Similar to Premium Network but does not include CN2 network. Other aspects are the same as Premium Network.
• Bandwidth Capacity: Typically starts at 100M, upgradeable.
• Suitable Products: Dedicated servers, Multi-IP servers, Large Bandwidth servers

International Network #

• Hong Kong Data Center: Primarily provided by HKT and Zenlayer, mainly covering Hong Kong local and overseas networks. Bandwidth typically starts at 20M, upgradeable.
• US Data Center: Covers overseas areas except mainland China, includes PCCW and COGENT. Bandwidth typically starts at 200M, upgradeable.
• Suitable Products: Dedicated servers, Large Bandwidth servers, GPU servers

Megalayer’s three different bandwidth types can cover the globe, but network quality and optimization direction vary. Users can choose according to their needs. For services targeting mainland China users, Premium Network is recommended; for services primarily targeting international users, International Network is more suitable for obtaining larger bandwidth capacity.

Speed Test Note: Megalayer’s official website provides network speed testing functionality to test download speeds for various bandwidth types. Note that most transfer rates are in Megabytes per second (MBps), which equals eight Megabits per second (Mbps). For example, if your download speed is 10MBps, it actually equals 80Mbps.
